Staff Innovation-Operating Room

This week, we were notified that there was a backorder on a supply that is required for our GYN patients.  Our supply availability within the system was limited and the backorder release date is about 6 weeks out.  The team knew that the current supply would only last for a short period of time..  Linda Kirchhoff, Cindy Neufeld, Valerie Mateieciuc, Caleb Frye, Wanda Jenkins, and Johnette Smith put their expertise and creativity to work, to create a safe and workable solution that would not interrupt or compromise patient safety and quality.  Our employees are some of our best problem solvers and creators of innovation.  Thanks to this amazing team for pulling together and utilizing available resources to create an innovative solution to a complex issue!
