Great Catch led to correct diagnose and treatment

Jacob Thornton, CT Technologist at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital noticed an abnormality on a patient scan that hadn't been reported. He explained his concern to the ordering provider who in turn discussed the scan with a Radiologist who agreed. The correct diagnosis was subsequently made leading to appropriate treatment, all during the time frame of the patient encounter. Way to go Jake! Thank you for your attention and vigilance.
