October 17-23 is National Pharmacy Week

National Pharmacy Week is an annual observance that acknowledges the invaluable contributions that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians make to patient care in hospitals, ambulatory care clinics, retail pharmacy and other healthcare settings. It is no more evident than here at Carilion Clinic where over 300 pharmacy personnel support patient care across the system.

During the past 19 months, our pharmacy teams have displayed extraordinary courage and commitment in deploying and administering COVID-19 vaccines across our region as well as the preparation of monoclonal antibodies. 

Thank you Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists for your sacrifice and teamwork.  Your strength and resilience has not gone unnoticed.
