Will You Give to This Year's You & I Campaign?

The annual employee campaign, You & I, has returned this month.

This campaign raises funds for the Carilion Clinic Foundation, and every dollar donated goes to helping patients, colleagues and community members who need it.

The You & I Campaign begins on Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 31. The Foundation is again providing T-shirts for anyone who donates just a few dollars per month. The shirts will be a different color than last year’s shirts, so make sure to donate and receive your shirt while supplies last!

This campaign is one way we can help improve the health of the communities we serve. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference for our patients and for people in our communities. You can designate specific funds you wish to support.

Gifts that Make a Difference

Here's how your gifts to the Carilion Foundation help provide for our employees and patients:

The Employee Emergency Fund has supported 423 members of our Carilion family and provided more than $250,000 in emergency assistance.
The Patient Care Fund has helped over 1,800 patients with 7,975 critical medications and equipment since its inception.

Contributing to the United Way by check or payroll deduction is no longer an option through the You & I campaign. We encourage you to visit your local United Way website to make a contribution. You can read more about our work with United Way and how to give here.

How To Give

There are several ways to give:

Make a payroll deduction gift to the Carilion Clinic Foundation.
Make a one-time gift with a credit card to the Carilion Clinic Foundation.
Mail a check payable to the Carilion Clinic Foundation. Mail ALL checks to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, P.O. Box 12187, Roanoke, VA 24023. Or by interoffice mail to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, Fralin House, 903 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke, VA 24016.

Prizes This Year

New T-shirts! Make a donation of $52 ($2 per pay period) and you'll receive a You & I T-shirt!
In November, we'll announce the winners of this year’s prizes. This year they include 26 Amazon cards worth $250 each and gift certificates for four regional destinations:

  - Mountain Lake Resort, Pembroke
  - The Inn at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg
  - Grace House Bed and Breakfast, Lexington
