Guest Service Super Stars

I would like to give a big shout out to the following employees Candice Underwood, Kathy Smith, and Ed Cordell.

Even though Candice was hired for 6 South she is constantly helping the lobby team out downstairs. She fills in when we are short staffed, she checks on us in the afternoons to see if we are ok. She even makes armbands for the screeners. The best part of all is that she does all of this of her own volition without even having to be asked. Candice you commitment is unwavering and we could all take a page from your book. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Cathy helped us tremendously by selling the remaining plants that we had left over from the Mother's day plant sale to help support the "Lights of Love" program. This program offers hotel assistance to the families that cannot afford it otherwise. Without our volunteers this year we had a lot of flowers left over that did not sale. Cathy helped to change that, we ended up having another sale out year! Thank you Cathy! 

Ed works at the Guest Service's desk on 4N which is where families check-in for general surgery. The patients and families would rather be anywhere else. But somehow with Ed's amazing charisma he still manages to bring a smile to almost everyone's face. His compassion and commitment is amazing! Thank you Ed for all that you do for the patients and families!
