Carilion Clinic Hospice NRV-We Honor Veterans

On Friday March12, 2021, Treasa Rigney, Volunteer Assistant Coordinator was advised that for the second year running, Carilion Clinic Hospice of the New River Valley has met the requirements for obtaining and maintaining our level 5 We Honor Veteran status!!!! Carilion Clinic Hospice in the New River Valley was the first hospice in the state of Virginia to obtain level five, two years ago. This accomplishment is not made easily or without a LOT of work from everyone on the team. When I talked to Treasa on Friday about this wonderful news, she said “We have an awesome team and it is a lot of work, but we all are committed to our veterans.”

The We Honor Veterans team is pleased to inform you that you’ve met all the requirements for Level 5 renewal for Carilion Clinic Hospice New River Valley!

Please keep in mind, unlike our other levels, to maintain your level 5 certification you will have to recertify each year.
