Did You Know You Can Help a Coworker or Patient in Need?
If this year has taught us anything, it is that we are stronger together.
The You & I campaign is our annual employee giving campaign to support the Carilion Clinic Foundation and United Way. This year, we changed the name to You & I to highlight the great work we can achieve together.
What does my donation support?
Donations to the Carilion Foundation help provide for our employees and our patients. The Employee Emergency Fund supports our employees experiencing temporary or unexpected hardships. The need for this fund has grown 332% during the pandemic! Anything you can donate, no matter how small, will help our colleagues when they need it most. Other funds, including the Patient Care Fund, which has helped more than 1,430 patients, also make a difference in many lives every day.
Additionally, you can donate to United Way of Roanoke Valley, which has worked to build a stronger community by contributing to public health and assisting parents to secure basic needs. See this video about United Way to learn more about what your gift can do.
How To Give
You can give to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, United Way or both. You can designate specific funds or agencies you wish to support.
There are several ways to give:
- Make a payroll deduction gift to the Carilion Clinic Foundation and/or United Way.
- Make a one-time gift with a credit card to the Carilion Clinic Foundation.
- Make a one-time gift with a credit card to United Way. Enter "carilion" for the user id and "campaign 2020" for the password.
- Mail a check payable to the Carilion Clinic Foundation or the United Way. Mail ALL checks to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, P.O. Box 12187, Roanoke, VA 24023. Or by interoffice mail to the Carilion Clinic Foundation, Fralin House, 903 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke, VA 24016.
New Prizes This Year
- T-shirts! Make a donation of $52 ($2 per pay period) or more to one or both organizations in any combination and you'll receive a campaign T-shirt!
- We've substituted T-shirts for the weekly prize drawings and we've doubled the number of grand prizes!
- On Nov. 4 we'll announce the 26 winners of the $250 Amazon gift cards.
- Our grand prizes this year include a $500 gift card to Mountain Lake Lodge and an outdoor flat top grill with a $100 Kroger gift card.
