If you are interested in continuing your education and growing your career at Carilion, applying for the tuition advancement program may be an opportunity you won’t want to miss!

Tuition advancement can provide you with tuition support if you are seeking a pre-approved degree at Radford University that will prepare you for a Carilion Clinic-designated position. 

We’ve recently made changes to the program to give you more options and flexibility to further your education, if you meet the qualifying criteria and are accepted to participate. With these enhancements, the program now:

• Supports pre-approved degree programs at all Radford campuses, not just Radford University Carilion
• Removes the one-year waiting period
• Includes additional programs of study, such as Surgical Technician, some Nurse Practitioner sub-specialties, IT programs and Bachelor of Nursing programs
