Thank you for your quick thinking and tender touch for our pediatric patients!

The nomination Katrina received is below:

"I would like to nominate Katrina for the Bee Award.  She recognized an infant who was transferred to the peds floor was not breathing properly on admission.  She immediately alerted the nurse and doctor.  This child was given support and transferred to the PICU.  Katrina's quick response and assessment of the situation saved this infant.  She also went above and beyond for PICU with a different patient.  She helped the nurse complete hand tiles on a dying pediatric patient.  Her willingness to help the nurse helped give this family a lasting and tangible memory of their child.  I feel she has consistently went above and beyond for our unit and patients, and would love to see her with this award.  Thank you."
