Celebrating 40 Years of Service
We had the privilege of celebrating Kim Gallagher’s 40 years of service on January 16th. She was titled “Carilion Princess” for the day and was even given a tiara to honor the occasion. Kim started working in Personnel (HR) in 1980 as a reception before transferring to the Southeast Family Medical Center. She’s also worked in several lead and supervisor positions in Rheumatology, Physician Support Referral/Auth Team at CASB, Physician Support/Patient Access at CCR3 and most recently joined Dermatology & Mohs Surgery in April 2019 as our Support Supervisor. You can witness Kim’s compassion and loyalty to the organization when you see her interacting with patients, family members, physicians and coworkers. She’s not only been an asset to Carilion through the years, but she’s also been a great addition to our team and we’re fortunate she chose us. Hopefully she’s found her forever home in dermatology and we look forward to working along side her for many years to come.
Thank you Kim for all you do and kudos for this achievement.
