Above and Beyond Teamwork

Richard Rowe exuded all Carilion values while transitioning a new hire in nuclear medicine. Richard graciously traveled to Giles from his normal job at CNRV to train and orientate the only Nuclear Medicine employee at Giles. Richard shared his knowledge of Quality Assurance, process flow, ordering doses, as well as scanning and processing exams. During the transition, our new hire had a family event that called him away and Richard stepped up and offered to cover the schedule so it would not disrupt patient care. Richard is committed to all patients and is a champion for Carilion. Thank you for going the extra mile to help a co-worker succeed and being an awesome team member.
