Thanks to those who helped during my first week with Carilion Clinic

I cannot let my first week as a member of the Carilion Clinic family go by without recognizing the folks who've may be feel so welcomed. 

I'm honored to be working with members of the Marketing and Communications/Corporate Communications team. The support of Mike Dame, Chris Turnbull, Hannah Curtis, Jeremy Wells, and Brenda Foutz in particular has made my first week with Carilion a true pleasure. Thanks also to everyone whom Chris introduced me to during my tour of the McClanahan Building on Wednesday, each of whom also made me feel more than welcome. What a great group of professionals!

Special thanks also to the orientation team who welcomed me and around 100 of my fellow new employees this past Monday. I enjoyed meeting folks from so many different Carilion operations who reported for their first workday on Tuesday. It was especially fun participating in the group activities with those at my table. I sure left enthused for my first day!

Finally, special thanks to Jason Bishop, Melissa Ferguson, Deidre Wilkes, and the rest of the Human Resources team. I appreciate your making the onboarding process so smooth in the weeks leading up to me first day of work.
