Initiative Taken

Ashley Rosser (Child Outpatient Psychiatry) took the initiative to raise concerns for both staff and patient safety, even knowing that it may upset others. Ashley had been working with our manager to get a broken glass check out window fixed. They had worked on this two weeks ago, with no resolve. The glass could have easily cut children and the window could have even fallen in on Ashley herself, or fallen back on a child patient. Ashley communicated her concerns with upper management and the manager of Maintenance. The issue was resolved in a day. Patient safety is one of Ashley's upmost priorities! Kudos!
