Daleville Expansion Marks Next Step in Improving Access to Care

Submitted by agcoleman on

We're expanding access to care in Botetourt County!

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, we broke ground on a 40,000-square-foot expansion of our existing facility in Daleville. The project will bring 24/7 emergency services, additional specialty care, and expanded primary care closer to home for patients and families in the growing community.

The expansion will include a fully staffed emergency department on the first floor, with dedicated parking and walk-in access. A new multispecialty clinic on the second floor will add general surgery, orthopaedics, and cardiology to the existing primary care, OB/GYN, and imaging services already available at the facility.

“This project reflects Carilion’s continued commitment to investing in the health and well-being of the communities we serve,” said Paul Davenport, senior vice president for Ambulatory Operations. “As we move into this next phase, we look forward to expanding access to emergency, specialty, and primary care for our community in Daleville and Botetourt County, making it easier for patients and families to receive the care they need, close to home.”

We're partnering with Landmark Healthcare Facilities LLC on the project, which will bring the facility's total size to 65,000 square feet.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2027. Our existing Daleville practices will remain open throughout construction, allowing patients to continue receiving care without interruption.

Once complete, the expanded facility will bring emergency, primary, and specialty care together under one roof, strengthening our ability to serve Botetourt County and surrounding communities.
