Congrats to our outpatient/ambulatory 3rd quarter DAISY Award winner!

Congratulations to Emilie Newman, RN, on receiving the DAISY Award from the Ambulatory Recognition Council!

Emilie was recognized for her exceptional attentiveness and commitment to her patients. A patient called to schedule an appointment because they believed they might have pneumonia:

"She heard how bad I sounded and could her the wheezing as my wife was talking to her, and she told me to go to the hospital immediately. Upon arrival I was found to have a massive amount of fluid around my heart causing afib. One day more and I would have been intubated. I will always be grateful."
