Our commitment to community health extends far beyond direct patient care. In fiscal year 2024 (the latest data in this category), we provided $163.3 million in community benefit investments, including:

• $51.6 million in health professions education
• $7.9 million in community health investments
• $2.7 million in research

Supporting Our Mission Through Philanthropy

The Carilion Clinic Foundation continues to play an important role in advancing patient care and innovation through philanthropic support. In fiscal year 2025, the Foundation reported:

• $15 million in total giving
• 2,132 donors
• $113 million in total assets

These resources help fund innovative equipment, patient-centered programs, scholarships, and services that enhance care across the region.
