Carilion Cancer Care Certificate of Appreciation Presented to Emma Osborne, LMSW

Congratulations to Emma Osborne, LMSW on recently receiving a Carilion Clinic Cancer Care Certificate of Appreciation from Lindsay Collins and Dr. Fintel in recognition of the meaningful impact she made on a patient’s life.

Chaplain Keith Little recognized Emma for the important role she played in a patient’s treatment journey and overall well-being. Emma had a deeply motivating conversation with a patient currently undergoing active treatment. Following that conversation, the patient later shared with additional staff members that she had been considering making an unwise decision, but after speaking with Emma, she felt she could keep going.

Emma dedicates time and compassion to supporting Oncology patients through challenges during their cancer journey. Her kindness, presence, and encouragement make a profound difference during a very difficult time.
