Most Likely to Have Seen it All Award!
The Recognition Council this year took nominations for the "Most Likely to Have Seen it All" superlative award. We are happy to share that Chip Tomlin in adult inpatient psych rehab was selected as our winner! Thanks for all you do Chip and your many years of service!
I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible impact he has on our team. I want to thank him for being an amazing mentor, educator, and bright spot in our days! He brings years of seasoned nursing experience to our unit, acting as a pillar of knowledge for both new and veteran staff. His vast experience shine through in everything he does. He dedicates his time to our continuing education. He is able to break down the evidence-based practice by explaining the clinical rationale and we always walk away understanding not just what we are doing, but the why behind it. Beyond his brilliant clinical mind, his storytelling is a true gift to our unit. His delightful (and sometimes crazy!) legendary stories of patients and staff from over the years don't just make us laugh; they build our culture, relieve our stress and pass down invaluable wisdom. He proves laugher really is the best medicine!
