Great Catch Award- Casara Hudnall
During her final week of nursing orientation, Casara faced a moment that would define both skill and character. When a patient suddenly began choking during lunch, Casara immediately recognized the danger and sprang into action, performing the Heimlich maneuver and saving the patient’s life.
This extraordinary response, marked by sharp clinical judgment, confidence, and calm under pressure, speaks volumes, especially from a new nurse and new member of the CGCH team. We are deeply grateful for Casara’s presence, professionalism, and commitment to patient safety. With instincts like these and a heart for care, Casara has a very bright future ahead, and we are proud that CGCH is the place chosen to call home.
