Dr. Robert Brown: 2025 Citizen of the Year

A proud graduate of Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, Dr. Brown’s education laid the foundation for a career defined by service, excellence, and a deep connection to our academic mission. His continued commitment to Carilion Clinic as an emergency medicine physician reflects not only his professional dedication, but also his enduring ties to the Virginia Tech Carilion community. Since 2020, Dr. Brown has volunteered weekly at the Bradley Free Clinic, serving uninsured and underinsured patients as a primary care physician. We are grateful for his contributions and proud to recognize this well-deserved honor.
