CFMH's Amanda Haynes & Lea Ann Altice Go the Extra Mile for our patients!

There was a patient needing a Zio Monitor but the patient couldn't get here due to a recent knee fracture. Her daughter in law called and left a voice message with this info and requested that someone drop by to pick up the monitor as opposed to them bringing her in for placement. Unfortunately our protocol is in clinic placement by one of our staff members or mail to patient monitor which is a five-day turnaround time. Due to these circumstances, Amanda Haynes (Cardiac Diagnostics) spoke with Lea Ann Altice (Cardiology) about going to this patient's home for placement. So she and Lea Ann went to the patient's home that afternoon to place the monitor to avoid any delays in care!
