Congrats Laura St. Clair on your Retirement after 39 years of service!

Congrats to Laura St. Clair after 39 years of service in the Carilion CT department. Laura came to CT as the first tech to work the 3-11 shift at RMH and did so for 14 years. Then in 2007, Laura stepped into the role of supervisor of the CT department. During her time as supervisor, she was more than a boss, she was there to celebrate each and every employee when there was any happy life changing events but she was also there for support during heartbreaking events as well. Laura put so much time and dedication into the CT department and her hard work and drive made the CT department great. In 2021, Laura stepped out of the role as supervisor for her family but continued as a CT tech in Daleville where she continued to give her patients the best possible care. Between coworkers and her patients in Daleville she has been truly loved at Carilion, when Laura told her patients she was retiring, there were many emotional patients who couldn't help but hug her, Laura will truly be missed by her patients.

Laura, I am truly blessed to have been able to work by your side not only did I get to have you by my side our entire career and school, but I have a lifelong friend in you. I hope you truly feel celebrated because you deserve to be celebrated. Happy Retirement!  Lisa Sutliff
