COVID-19 Employee Health Policy: What You Need to Know
As we enter the fall, we want to remind you of our COVID-19 illness management protocol.
If you are sick, follow standard Employee Health procedures and return to pre-pandemic protocols for managing illnesses. Please refer to the Employee Health policy (under the Downloads header below) for guidance on returning to work safely.
Key points from the Employee Health Policy:
- If you have COVID-19: Do not come into work until acute symptoms improve and your fever is below 100.4°F for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
- If you have Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS): Do not come into work until acute symptoms improve and your fever is below 100.4°F for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
Work with your supervisor if you need to remain out of work and follow our pre-pandemic attendance policies. If you test positive for COVID-19 and must remain out of work, the attendance policy will apply to work-related absences.
We also have some tips for self-care to help when you're sick.
