Art Cart Volunteer receives 18 Under 18 Recognition

Congratulations to Carilion student volunteer, Hannah Mizuba, on being a recipient of the Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia's 18 Under 18 Awards!

Hannah started volunteering with the Keeley Healing Arts Program's Art Cart initiative at RMH through Volunteer Services in the summer of 2024. She continued managing the art cart throughout her senior year of high school, accumulating over 100 hours of volunteer services with Carilion. Hannah is a graduate of Roanoke Valley's Governor's School and is currently studying to be an EMT.

As stated in the Roanoker Magazine featuring the 2025 18 Under 18 recipients, "Hannah's work reflects not just academic excellence but a deep understanding of community connection, creating meaningful change through both science and the arts."

We are so proud to have Hannah as a part of Volunteer Services and the Keeley Healing Arts Program and are tremendously grateful for her service!
