New Maternity App Offers More Support for OB Patients

Submitted by sereid on

As a benefit to our OB patients, we are providing them with access to the Baby360 Maternity App (YoMingo). There is no cost for our OB patients. The app will replace printed patient education materials previously used by the OB team and is available in 18 languages.

The app covers the entire scope of care in the maternity journey, including prenatal care, labor and birth, postpartum care, breastfeeding, newborn care and NICU. The content is evidence-based using clinical references from ACOG, AWHONN, AAP, and CDC. The app is also customized with Carilion-specific information

App Features

  • Weekly Milestones: Note your baby's milestones as your baby is growing inside you. When baby arrives, use this feature to keep track of your little one's milestones in the first year.

  • Kick Counter: Monitor baby's activity and potentially identify changes by counting your baby's kicks each day.

  • Contraction Timer: Track the duration and frequency of contractions to prepare for birth.

  • Personal Journal: Log your thoughts and feelings during your pregnancy and postpartum journey. It can be helpful for yours and your baby's health!

  • Feeding Log: Record when, what and how much your baby is eating; this is helpful for those sleep-deprived days when memory is difficult. Being able to see patterns in food intake is also important to maintaining baby's growth.

  • Immunization Log: Know what immunizations your little one has and needs by logging them all in one spot!

  • Diaper Log: Record diaper changes, conditions and other observations. It will come in handy at your next pediatrician well visit!
