Sarah Henshaw, CVI Nursing Senior Director, provides life-saving resuscitation

Submitted by embankston on

On June 29, during a travel baseball game in the rural town of South Boston, the umpire collapsed due to heat exhaustion. He became unresponsive and lost his pulse.

Sarah Henshaw, the most medically qualified person on-site, immediately took charge of the situation and led the resuscitation efforts until emergency services arrived.

Thanks to Sarah’s swift response, the umpire was transported to the hospital and had a successful outcome.

Kudos to Sarah for her life-saving actions!
