Belleview Avenue Next to CRMH West Pavilion Closes Tuesday, June 24
Beginning the afternoon of Tuesday, June 24, the portion of Belleview Avenue next to the CRMH West Pavilion is closing.
This closure will cause a traffic pattern shift.
What You Need to Know
-
The closure will remain in place indefinitely as we finalize construction plans for the façade.
-
Our Terrace View Garage, North Entrance and loading dock will only be accessible via Walnut Avenue. The loading dock will only be open to vendors and designated employees.
-
The crosswalk at the intersection of Hamilton Terrace and Belleview Avenue is also closed. Pedestrians should use the Terrace View Garage tunnel to enter the hospital (starred on the map). The alternative crosswalk across Belleview near the Jefferson Street bridge is also available.
- Parking in the new McClanahan Garage is another alternative for patients and visitors to the hospital.
The closure is occurring out of an abundance of caution so we can safely move forward with construction.
Any change to traffic patterns can be disruptive. Thank you in advance for your patience. Thank you also for assisting our patients and visitors as they navigate these changes. Additional wayfinding and safety measures are underway in response to your feedback. As more updates become available, we will share them here on Inside Carilion.
