Dr. John Tamminen (Giles Radiology) received the VCOM Clinical Educator of the Year Award from the VCOM Class of 2018, presented by Dr. Megan Thomas (Discipline Chair for Internal Medicine at VCOM). The Educator/Preceptor of the Year Award is an award that honors preceptors who have demonstrated a Commitment to excellence in the clinical education of VCOM students as a mentor and instructor. Preceptors assist and provide guidance to VCOM medical students in their third and fourth year clinical rotations. Each year, Educator/Preceptor Awards are given to physicians who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring. CONGRATULATIONS Dr. Tamminen!!!
