Dick & Dave’s Miracle Day Radiothon Friday, March 7 Supports Carilion Children’s

Submitted by kesims1 on

This Friday, March 7, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., local radio station Q99 will host the annual Dick & Dave’s Miracle Day fundraiser. Listen live to hear stories about children and their families who were treated here at Carilion and raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network of Southwest Virginia (CMN).

All the money raised throughout the event will support Carilion Children’s through CMN. The fundraiser provides critical medical equipment, services and toys for children in inpatient and outpatient units.

“Miracle Day Radiothon is an incredible reminder of how powerful a community can be when they come together for a common cause,” said CMN program director Macy Ware. “When donors call in to give, they're not just making a contribution, they're becoming part of something much bigger and helping us change kids' health so they can change the future.”

Last year, the radiothon raised $148,000. Over the past 20 years, Miracle Day has raised more than $2.8 million for children in our region.
