From the new RefillPro app to mail-order services and remote pickup, there’s a solution for everyone—whether you work in Roanoke or remotely.
 

New! RefillPro App – A Convenient Prescription Solution 

Carilion Clinic Pharmacy is excited to introduce the new RefillPro app, designed to make managing your prescriptions easier than ever! 

With the RefillPro app, you can:

• Easily refill your prescriptions by scanning the barcode on your prescription label or entering your Rx number. 

• Track the status of your prescriptions and find pharmacy locations and hours—all from the palm of your hand. 

• Pick up your prescriptions at the location most convenient for you. 

The app is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.

If you’re covered under the Carilion Health Plan, the RefillPro app makes it even easier to access your pharmacy benefits. Whether you’re refilling a prescription or exploring other pharmacy options, the app offers a quick and convenient way to stay on top of your prescription needs.

Your Prescription-Filling Options 

As a Carilion employee, you can enjoy several benefits when it comes to filling prescriptions. Here’s an overview of what's available:  

​​​​Cost Savings 
When you fill your prescriptions at a Carilion outpatient pharmacy, you benefit from lower copays. Plus, you can save money on both brand-name and generic medications. 

Maintenance Prescriptions 
After the initial fill and one or two refills, your maintenance prescriptions (the medications you take regularly) must be filled at a Carilion Clinic outpatient pharmacy to be covered under your prescription benefits. Non-maintenance or acute care prescriptions can be filled at any retail pharmacy of your choice. 

90-Day Supply 
To maximize your copay savings, maintenance prescriptions can be filled for a 90-day supply at a Carilion outpatient pharmacy.  

Tiered Copays 
Carilion’s Prescription Drug Benefit has four copay tiers: generic, preferred brand, non-preferred brand and specialty medications. Copay savings are available when you fill prescriptions for generic, preferred brand and non-preferred brand medications at Carilion outpatient pharmacies. For specialty medications, Carilion Clinic Specialty Pharmacy, located at Tanglewood Mall, can help. 

For Employees Outside of Roanoke  

If you work remotely or at one of our outlying locations (Rockbridge, Franklin, New River Valley, Giles, and Tazewell), it may be more difficult to handle your maintenance prescriptions at a Carilion outpatient pharmacy. So, we've made it easier for you to get your prescriptions with remote pickup and mail-order services.

Mail Order 
Use the mail-order option provided by Carilion Clinic Pharmacy at Crystal Spring. By submitting a mail-order form, prescriptions can be mailed directly to you at no additional shipping cost. Overnight shipping is also available for an extra fee. 

Remote Prescription Pickup 
Take advantage of remote prescription pickup services at these locations: 

• Tanglewood
  Pick up provided by Carilion Clinic Riverside 3 Pharmacy
  Call 540-526-1450 for delivery timing.

• CFMH
  Pick up provided by Carilion Clinic Crystal Spring Pharmacy.
  Prescriptions are delivered weekly, every Thursday.            
  Call 540-853-0905 for more details. 

• CGCH and CTCH
  Remote pickup is available for employees at CGCH and CTCH.

• CGCH
  Remote pickup is available 3 times per week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  

• CTCH
  Remote pickup is available once a week on Thursday.  

• CNRV
  Employees who work overnight shifts can request remote pickup at the CNRV Inpatient Pharmacy. 

Please note that controlled substances are excluded from the remote pickup service. Requests should be made by noon the day before delivery.
