Donate a Toy for Our Carilion Children's Patients

Submitted by sereid on

Whether during a child’s outpatient visit or a hospital stay, our child life specialists help patients and families to reduce their stress and fear of the unknown during a difficult time. One of the ways they do this is by providing toys and games to our youngest patients. Because of a shortage of donations last year, we need more toys.

Help us refill the toy supply donating a toy during our supplemental toy drive this March and spreading the word. We’ll collect donations until March 31 at Carilion Children’s Tanglewood Center. Check out the wish list here. Items may be ordered from the wish list and shipped to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Toys must be new, unwrapped and latex-free. No items with religious or violent messages are allowed.

We need help replenishing the toy supply for Carilion Children's patients.

The annual December toy drive fell short and only collected about a third of the usual amount of donations.

Donations will be collected throughout March at Carilion Children's Tanglewood Center.
