What's in Your Jan. 3 Paycheck?

Submitted by eapullin on

This was the first paycheck of 2025, and it's an important one! It reflects the deductions for the 2025 benefits choices you made in November during our annual benefits enrollment period.

To be sure your 2025 benefits are correct, follow the steps below to check your Jan. 3 paycheck.

How To Check Your Paycheck

  • Log in to My Total Access.*
  • On the top left of the page, choose Bookmarks, then Employee Self-Service, then Pay, then Paychecks.
  • Select 01/03/2025 to view your paycheck.
  • Find your benefits deductions in the Pre-Tax Deductions and After-Tax Deductions boxes on the right side of the page.
  • Compare the deductions on your paycheck with the 2025 benefits contribution summaries on the Benefit Premium Costs page on the Benefits, Pay and Well-being hub.

If your deductions don't accurately reflect your 2025 benefits choices, contact Human Resources as soon as possible so they can help you right away.

Important Reminders About Your Deductions

If you increased life insurance coverage above the guaranteed issue amount, this amount will not be included in your Jan. 3 paycheck. You will need to fill out a medical history statement to begin the approval process. If approved, your coverage amount and deductions will increase. Information about this statement will be emailed to you by Human Resources.

The disability deduction amount on this paycheck may differ slightly from the amount shown on the confirmation statement you received after completing open enrollment. Any recent pay change (promotion, job change, etc.) will affect the amount of your deduction for your disability premiums.

If your spouse or domestic partner is also enrolled in the medical plan and doesn’t qualify to have the premium waived, this paycheck will include the $50 Working Spouse Premium amount that is being added to your medical premiums each pay period.

You will not see the $50 Working Spouse Premium amount on this paycheck or upcoming paychecks if your spouse or domestic partner is not enrolled in the medical plan or you submitted a Request for Waiver form and were approved to have the premium waived.

If you have questions, contact Human Resources.
