Earn Up to $20,000 for Referring a Physician to Carilion

We are now offering Referral Rewards for approved open physician positions!    

The program provides a $20,000 referral bonus to employees—including physicians—who refer a physician who is hired for one of the approved positions. The payment is subject to taxes and withholdings and is paid in two installments.   

The first payment of $5,000 is paid during a regular payroll cycle after the new physician’s start date. The second and final payment of $15,000 is paid during the next regular payroll cycle after the physician's first year anniversary with us.

Family members, former employees, residents/fellows and temporary physicians (former or current) are not eligible for this program.   

Referrals from department chairs, Human Resources recruitment, and leaders referring candidates for their own department's positions are not eligible for this program.
