Our Electronics Recycling Event is Saturday, March 8

Submitted by kdberry on

Please save your old electronics for a March 8 recycling event. We are partnering with River Acceptance, a local electronics recycler, to recycle electronics safely and securely. All funds from the recycled materials will be donated to the Carilion Clinic Foundation's Taubman Cancer Center Fund to support our new cancer center. During this season of giving, this is one great way to give back!

Take a look at the results from previous years:

 January 2022 event

  • 40,045 pounds of e-waste recycled
  • $5,619 raised
  • Over 750 cars attended

 April 2023 event

  • 31,875 pounds of e-waste recycled
  • $3,305 raised
  • Over 480 cars attended

 August 2023 event (in Blacksburg)

  • 13,714 pounds of e-waste recycled
  • $1,628 raised
  • 186 cars attended
