HERO: RMH cardiac nurse saves NRV bicycle rider

Cundiff Terri, Director of Ambulatory Procedures at Carilion Clinic Cardiology  

participated in Saturday's (5.25.24) 2024 Wilderness Road Ride 

At mile 24 of the 30-mile trek, a bicyclist had a heart attack.  Terri was behind her when she saw the woman in the ditch and performed lifesaving CPR.  Rescue brought the patient to Carilion NRV where the cardiac arrest was confirmed. 

The patient is recovering at Carilion NRV and doing well.   Thank you, Terri for being her HERO.
