Going the Extra Mile

I would like to take a minute to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Lynne High, RN Velocity Care Nurse Navigator. Lynne spends every day following up with our patients labs, ensuring they have received proper treatment and medications. recently she attempted to reach a patient that needed to have a medication for a positive test result and discovered that the patient was out of the country and would not be back for some time. Knowing the patient needed to have her results and start her medication as soon as possible, she made multiple calls and was able to track down the patient. She then worked with our medical director to find a way to get the medication prescribed in the Cayman Islands, where the patient was. Thank you Lynne for always being so compassionate, caring and going the extra mile for our patients!!!
