Precautionary Measure Regarding Emails from Ascension Health

Ascension Health, a nonprofit health system with 140 hospitals that is headquartered in St. Louis, is currently being impacted by a cyberattack that compromised their systems and data. 

As a preventive action, we have decided to quarantine all inbound email from Ascension until we have more information and assurance that their email system is secure and clean. This means that any email sent from Ascension to our organization will not be delivered to your inbox but will be held in a separate quarantined region that is inaccessible to users. This is to prevent any possible malware, phishing, or ransomware from entering our Outlook environment and causing damage or disruption.

Please note that this quarantine does not mean that any email from Ascension will be lost or deleted. We will retain all the quarantined email and release it to your inbox once we are confident that it is safe and legitimate. 

We are closely monitoring the situation and apologize for any inconvenience.
