Schwartz Center Rounds: An Opportunity to Learn and Share
If you're interested in sharing, learning, promoting change or just being with others who are facing similar challenges, think about attending the next Schwartz Center Rounds, Service, Sacrifice, and Struggle: Navigating One's Mental Health, on Tuesday, May 21, noon - 1 p.m. in the CRMH 6th Floor Auditorium, CNRV New River Conference Room or on Teams.
For a decade, Schwartz Center Rounds—offered by The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare—have been available here at Carilion Clinic to give you as healthcare providers time during work to discuss openly and honestly the social and emotional side of caring for patients and families.
During each Rounds, a panel of Carilion employees present a brief presentation on a particular patient case or topic and then invite participants to share their personal stories and perspectives on the case and broader related issues.

Schwartz Center Rounds are held every other month and are open to anyone in the organization; however, clinicians providing direct patient care will benefit the most.
