"How Am I Doing?" Time To Give and Request Feedback!
It may seem too soon after 2023 performance reviews to talk about feedback, but giving and requesting feedback from others should be an ongoing process all year long.
Now that we're in the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, this is the perfect time to start giving and requesting feedback.
Feedback Refresher
Feedback is the best way to learn what you’re doing well and where you can improve—and it helps paint a full picture of your successes and improvement opportunities.
That’s why there’s a tool in Cornerstone to help you give and request feedback regularly.
This quick refresher is a good reminder of how feedback works. You can also download the Giving Feedback job aid for more detailed instructions.
When To Give or Request Feedback
Ask for feedback:
- Regularly
- After completing a project
- From internal customers you work with closely (not patients)
Give feedback:
- When asked
- When a co-worker went above and beyond
- When a co-worker could have handled something more effectively
Job aids on the Performance hub provide additional guidance on when to ask for and give feedback.
