Carilion Clinic Hospice of the NRV Honors Our Veterans This Holiday Season!
Our CNRV Hospice Team is honoring veterans for the 5th year in a row by placing red, white, and blue Christmas Trees inside the lobby of CNRV and Giles Community Hospital.
This is such a special way to honor, reflect, and remember our Veterans during the holiday season.
- The team also has a third tree displayed at the Inn at Virginia Tech highlighting how Hospice is able to enhance the quality of life at the end-of-life.
Carilion Clinic Hospice makes a difference every day and our CNRV Team was the very first Hospice Agency in the State of Virginia to obtain the distinct Level 5 We Honor Veteran Status in 2019.
- Level 5, We Honor Veterans, is the highest level that can be obtained by a Hospice Agency and is awarded by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Our Hospice Teams focuses on both the physical and emotional needs of each veteran, including the psychological toll of war and how it impacts their end-of-life journey. It is a distinct honor to be recognized for serving the unique end-of-life needs for our nation’s heroes.
