Brian Francis--Outstanding Preceptor Award Winner

On September 27th, the Nursing Center of Excellence presented the Outstanding Preceptor Award to Brian Francis, PCT from 10W at CRMH. Leaders from the Nursing Center of Excellence presented him with the award alongside his team members and nursing leaders. His nomination read, "Brian was always willing to help me and guide me when it came to tackling new tasks. He taught me how to calm myself down when things got overwhelming, and he taught me many tips and tricks on how to make the days easier. He was an amazing teacher, and he made me excited to come to work and learn. He also always made sure that I was up-to-date on everything and was always on the lookout for teaching opportunities, even with patients that weren’t ours." Brian's commitment and compassion toward not only his patients, but also to his Carilion Clinic family, deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Congratulations!
