Great Catch

patient admitted to SCU for A-Fib RVR.  heart rate on monitor showing 130's.  Alisa Pence CA ran admission strip on patient.  Strip shows heart rate of 110.  Reported to physician and went in to check monitor.  Found with pulse ox and manual check that patient's heart rate 74.  Cardizem rate was titrated down as a result.  If not for Alisa doing an admission strip and reported it to the physician,  patient would have been on a higher dose of Cardizem that was needed.  Great Job!!!!!
