Way to go Quality Data Analyst- Chrystal Wilson!

Chrystal is an essential part of the Clinical Advancement and Patient Safety Team! She leads our Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services quality reporting to ensure we are meeting regulatory requirements by working with an external vendor for data collection. Chrystal discovered a technology glitch with our external vendor platform and reported the issue immediately. She has worked diligently for a few months with their technology teams to develop a solution and ensure accurate reporting for our Carilion Clinic facilities. Through this work, a larger issue was identified impacting the validity around CMS regulatory data for facilities across the country. The vender is now working to correct the issue and has demonstrated sincere appreciation for Chrystal’s hard work and persistence.
