Kayla Hull, CNA, CNRV Hospice: Being Exceptional Every Day!

Thanks to the quick action of CNA, Kayla Hull, with Carilion Clinic Hospice of the New River Valley, one of our Home Care patients received the emergency care they needed in the comfort of their own home!  Upon arrival to her patient's home, Kayla noticed that her patient had increased edema in their extremities. Kayla took quick action and immediately contacted the patient's home health nurse.  The physician was consulted and the patient was started on an extra dose of Lasix which prevented a rehospitalization for this patient!

Kayla was nominated for the BEE Award by a peer who also stated that Kayla's patients absolutely LOVE her and that they often go on and on about what a wonderful job she does and what a blessing she is!
