Welcome Guest Services New Director of Transportation/Parking Services

Please join the Guest Services Department in welcoming Nikolajs (Nik) Znamenskis as the new Director of Transportation/Parking Services. Nik comes to Carilion from Vermont where he spent most of his Information Technology career in state government and local businesses. Nik brings over 18 years of leadership and project management experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and two master’s degrees, one in Management Information Systems and another in Business Administration.

In his new role, Nik will be responsible for the direction of Carilion Roanoke-based transportation/parking services and will provide oversight and policy for parking area designations for patients, visitors, physicians and employees. Nik will play a key role in developing parking procedures and traffic flow management for the new Crystal Spring Tower, Cancer Center and all garages.
