Submitted by klhoy on

Happy Nurses Week to the Transition to Practice Facilitators!!

This group of Nursing Professional Development Practitioners focused on the employee experience and ensuring we meet regulatory orientation and onboarding requirements in Nursing using evidence-based tactics.

Department highlights include:

Onboarding over 750 new employees to nursing units at RMH in 2022.

Preceptor Continued Professional Development Sessions called Preceptor PEARLS.

Expanded the Nurse Extern Program to support a flexible schedule for nursing students, improving their confidence and practice readiness while supporting the frontline staffing challenges.

Implementation of the Operation Manager Fellowship

And so much more...

A special shout-out also goes to our associate Amanda Johnston who helps keep us organized and uses her superpowers to support the outcomes of the department.
