Thank You COVID-19 Testing Center Staff!

Wednesday marked a milestone moment in the pandemic when our COVID-19 testing centers on Postal Drive in Roanoke and Barn Road in Christiansburg officially closed. 

More than 100 employees supported these sites, completing more than 340,000 tests since the start of the pandemic. During peaks, it was not uncommon for staff to work from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. to ensure all needs were met. 

We are extremely grateful for the staff who worked tirelessly these past three years to keep our workplace and communities safe. Thank you to everyone – from frontline staff to Facilities teams to TSG to clinical staff – who made these testing centers possible.
