Tammy Gibson's Retirement

It is an honor for me to let all of the Carilion family know that Tammy Gibson, Imaging Rad Tech, is retiring tomorrow after 38 years of service! Tammy began her career in Imaging at Community Hospital in 1982. She has seen Imaging go through many changes, staying strong through it all. I wish her well as she enters retirement.........a new phase to have more time to spend with family and do what she would like to do, not worrying about needing to save some energy to make it through a day at ION. :-)  Tammy, I will miss your wealth of knowledge and have benefited from working along side of you for my all of my time with Carilion. I will also miss your sense of humor and I am not sure what Brian Dabbs or Tracy Hall will do without having you to pick on them.......or them on you. There have been many tough days and your part in the humor helped them go by smoother. I appreciate the way you have graciously gone through the changes, specifically in the last 11 to 12 years of your career. I wish you the best and am not far behind you. :-)
