Summer SOAR Nurse Extern Outstanding Preceptor Award

The Carilion Nursing Center of Excellence presented three Outstanding Preceptor Award at the 2024 SOAR Nurse Extern Celebration. This award is presented to those that exemplify their passion of teaching and guiding others by demonstrating the four different roles of the preceptor: Protector, Evaluator, Educator, & Facilitator.
