Rosalie Faila -United States Citizen!

On Friday, June 7th Rosalie Faila took the Oath of Allegiance and officially became a United States Citizen!

Her journey has been a long one. Fleeing fighting in her home country of Democratic Republic of Congo, Rosalie and her family lived as refugees for many years. With help from the UN and USA, they were finally resettled in Roanoke just over 5 years ago. Shortly after arriving, Rosalie began work at Carilion Laundry. She learned English and became a Patient Care Technician where she serves our patients today.
